Baseball is a game of fundamentals. It\u2019s the foundation on which the game of baseball is built, and proficient players emerge. Training sessions are catered to the unique needs of each athlete in the five fundamentals of the game \u2013 throwing, catching, hitting, fielding and base running.<\/p>\n

  • Throwing, catching and fielding: <\/strong>Getting in front of the ball, following through and hand\/glove positioning are skills that create a strong defensive player in baseball. Remember, throwing the ball is something that constantly needs work.<\/li>\n
  • Hitting:<\/strong> The key to hitting consistency are balance, athleticism, plate discipline, weight transfer, and placement.<\/li>\n
  • Base running: <\/strong>Base running is how your score runs. However, you don\u2019t need to be the fastest runner on the roster to be success on the basepaths. It takes hustling and offensive aggression to advance bases.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
