Brief info

Johnnie Heisey, younger brother to Chris, has followed in his brother’s footsteps his whole life. To some that would have been a challenge, for Johnnie it was the motivation to succeed. Also, a Donegal graduate, Johnnie played baseball and basketball in high school. He continued his baseball career as an outfielder at Messiah College and ended his senior year with a batting average of .360. Johnnie holds the Messiah College batting record for the most grand slams in a career with a total of three.

Through Johnnie’s training, experiences and lessons from his older brother, he has an arsenal of knowledge about the fundamentals of baseball and they key to a great swing. Spending a lot of time in major league clubhouses with Chris, provided an invaluable opportunity to learn from many of the greatest MLB players of this century.

Today, Johnnie continues to play basketball recreationally and is well-rounded athlete. Supporting the younger generations in their own pursuits of athletics by imparting his knowledge, is one of Johnnie’s greatest passions.
